3 Best Healthy Diet Salad Recipes that you must try

1. Mango Salsa Salad Bowl


Since it's summer, let’s have fun with our mangoes. This mango salsa salad bowl is a meal in itself and is a fulfilling, delicious attempt at making salads tasty and interesting. 

Part 1 - Ingredients

1 Finely chopped Mango, ½ Finely chopped Onion, ½ Finely chopped Tomato, 2-3 Finely chopped Green Chillies, Finely chopped coriander, Juice of half lemon, Salt, Pepper

Part 2 - For the dressing

2 TBSP Olive Oil, 1 TSP Cumin Powder, 1 TSP Chilli Powder, ½ TSP pepper, Salt, 1 TBSP honey, 1 TBSP Lemon Juice

Part 3 - For the Bowl

1 Cup Quinoa/ Rice/Dalia/ Broken Wheat, ½ Cup Boiled Rajma, ½ cup boiled corn, Coriander

Mix together the ingredients of part 1 in a large bowl. To prepare the dressing mix together dressing ingredients in a separate small bowl. Now simply assemble the salad salsa bowl by keeping a portion of rice, corn and Rajma and a prepared mix of mango, onion, tomato and green chillies in a neat manner. Pour over the dressing right when you are to eat the salad. Mix together well and start eating. As simple as that. This recipe is scrumptious and fulfilling in itself. 


2. Warm Green Salad Bowl


This warm green salad is a perfect mix of greens and proteins and will leave you fulfilled. It’s a great source of vitamins, nutrients, good fats and proteins to keep you full for a longer time. 

Ingredients. 

100 Gram Paneer, ? cup blanched broccoli, ¼ cup Zucchini, ½ cup blanched spinach, 8-10 baby corns, 3-4 garlic cloves, Chilli flakes, Pepper, Salt, Oregano

Dice the paneer into mid-sized cubes and roast them in a non-stick pan with some olive oil. Once brown and beautiful on all the sides, keep it aside in a separate bowl. Now, add 1 TBSP olive oil to a pan and add finely chopped garlic to it. Once cooked, add zucchini, broccoli and baby corns to it. Cook it for around 2-3 minutes on medium-high flame. Add spinach to the mix and season it with salt, pepper and chilli flakes. Mix together Paneer and the mix right before you are about to eat. Serve it hot and dig in. This scrumptious meal will leave you fulfilled and happy. 


3. Zesty Chana Salad Bowl


Ingredients. 

50 gms Paneer shredded, 1 cup boiled black chana, ½ Onion Finely Diced, ½ Cucumber finely diced, ½ Tomato Finely Diced, Salt, Lemon, Coriander

This is the most simple Salad recipe and we are sure everyone must have tried this at home. Take a cup of boiled black chana and add all the veggies to a bowl. Add Lemon, salt and coriander to add taste to it. You can also add black salt for the zesty flavour to your salad. Now add shredded paneer to the mix and dig in. 

Add a desi twist to this recipe by preparing a tadka of oil, mustard seeds, curry leaves and Asafoetida (hing). Pour this over a mixture and dig in. This desi salad is our absolute favourite and contains all essential nutrients to make it balanced.
