While entering the place you are welcomed by an ambience which is combination of refreshing coffee aroma and soothing sight of greens. This place just defined its name. Ms. Lipy Bafna and team started this food outlet to share their vision of sustainable and organic cooking with their fellow surties.

The whole idea was to get organic raw food and serve the most native and rooted recipes with a fusion. “Raw Native simply stands for organic raw food and native dishes. We wanted to bring back the dishes and recipes which are nearly forgotten. We collected the native recipes from around the country and gave them little twists.” Ms. Lipy shared with team HFM.


The concept of Farm to Table

Raw Native follows the concept of ‘farm to table’ which means the raw food i.e., vegetables, grains, fruits and dairy used in their kitchen are all produced organically and they are 100% chemical and pesticides free.


Cooking, Culture & Community

The idea is bring sustainability in, COOKING by not making it a fancy profession but more of a homely process. Here in our kitchen dishes are being prepared by people who connect with food in a very homely manner and use the age old basic techniques of cooking. As far as CULTURE is concerned the belief is that ours is the country which celebrates different culture and festivals via food. And food has the power to bring together COMMUNITIES and make them believe in an idea.

Beside the fresh brewed coffee and all natural ambience the food here is a surprise to your taste buds. One such fusion native dish which is loved by the consumers is ‘ghevarchaat’. It’s a must try!!!

Ms. Lipy herself follows an Ayurvedic approach in life and is partly vegan when it comes to her food choices.“We here at RN follow a sustainable approach and believe in ‘good food for all’. As it is simply said that food you eat gives you energy. And the main reason behind the laziness and low immunity in people today is the food they eat. The food people eat does not provides them enough energy for their daily routine and this is where organic food comes in the scene. When one switches to fresh organic diet immediately you may not see any difference but eventually in long run it increases your energy levels and leads to much healthy life.” She shares her take on people’s diet.

Raw Native shares a thoughtful message with us that don’t just eat food for the taste but also start eating for yourself, your health and your mother nature. And most importantly know the source where your food is coming from.
