Samir Shingala, a cyclist, trainer and fitness coach with over 8 years of experience. He has been instrumental in training national level cyclists and helping sportsperson improve fitness levels. He is the Head Coach of Sam's Performance Coaching. Samir shingala shares the secret to lead a fitter, leaner and balanced life.

Samir Shingala strongly belived that Fitness has become the buzz word. Post Covid there has been a resurgence in the health and fitness industry. People now want to be fitter, better and lead a healthier lifestyle. Samir Shingala, a fitness coach, mentor and trainer for national-level cyclists is overjoyed with this buzz and importance with regards to health among people. He is happy that fitness communities across the globe are growing in size and number.

“I can see marked change happening in the health and fitness industry. There is heightened awareness and growth. It is heartening to see people cycling, running, exercising, going to fitness centres and building home gyms,” he says.

Talking about samir shingala fitness regime, Samir says, “I am national level cyclists, and my daily workout is around 3 hours. I ride 15000-18000 kms in a year, plus muscle strengthening, flexibility and mobility workouts in the centre. Fitness is a lifestyle, it’s not that you take a 6 month or a year long course that you can finish it. if you do it you gain it if you don’t you lose it. if you work on your body one hour a day and you are good to go.”

As a cyclist and a fitness coach Samir shingala with his dedication, consistency and determination has built an enviable body and regime. When asked how he has managed sail through the challenges to be one of Trendsetters of the city, he says, “I am the first player in Gujarat who finished elite category road race in the state in to 5 and 10 places in National championship. Also, as an expert into heartrate base training that’s where I know how the body responds to exercise. This helps us to get faster results and avoid injuries, enabling us to get it right the first time and not by making stream of mistakes.”

As an ardent cyclist and fitness freak Samir Shingala feels cycling and swimming are best sports to follow if one wants to get fit and lean.

“Cycling and swimming are the best sports to lose weight, gain strength and stamina. Both these sports are non-impact activities and reduces chances of injuries. But for someone who wants to be fit and healthy any sport is worth adopting. It is how you challenge yourself each day and conquer new heights. As a fitness coach my job is to train your mind, body and soul; helping individuals realise the magic your body can perform by staying consistent towards a sport or fitness regime.”
