WE Award Season 2: A Night of Recognition and Inspiration

Surat, March 10th, 2024 - In a celebration of grit, determination, and entrepreneurial prowess, the Women Entrepreneurship Awards Season 2 unfolded at Hotel Casa Riva, Bhatpore, Surat, organized by Red FM. The event, held on a crisp Sunday evening, served as a beacon of recognition and inspiration for women who have defied societal norms and carved their paths in the business world.

Red FM’s initiative behind these awards was to honor the spirit of female entrepreneurship and spotlight women who have excelled in their respective industries and challenged the status quo by venturing into traditionally male-dominated domains. From boardrooms to factories, these trailblazers have shattered glass ceilings while juggling the roles of mothers, wives, and leaders.

Kicking off the evening’s festivities were the dynamic duo of RJ Roshan and Utsav, who set the tone with a warm welcome address, igniting the spirit of camaraderie and celebration. The ambiance swelled with energy as a vibrant dance performance invoked the blessings of Lord Ganesha, symbolizing an auspicious beginning to the evening’s proceedings.

Rising Star Awards

The first category of the Red FM’s awards bestowed recognition upon women who are onto big things at the business front of life and have made a name for themselves with their unique ideas. Nirjari Shah was the first winner on this list. She has been a rising star in the real sense with her brand, By Nirjari, an accessories brand that aims to take Indian design and style to the rest of the world. In her brief speech, she amplified the importance of family support in a woman’s life and, in a breezy manner, touched upon how “women have come a so far and have still a long way to go…” In her parting words, she encouraged everyone to “take chances.”

Since it was a night organized by Red FM to celebrate women and highlight the challenges they endure daily, the host decided to have a fun activity. They called upon the husbands and made them drape saris with the help of their wives.
